Rumors abound on the Internet that YouTube will be cancelling the Church of Jerks this fall due to low ratings.

Despite an initial ground swell of followers, the Jerks have seen a steady decline in viewership presumably due to controversial material. Or perhaps it is just crappy material. The Jerks have introduced several new characters in an attempt to drive viewer support, including Buddy Robot, who recently left a starring role on HBO’s”Hung” to join the ensemble. Despite these grand gestures, the Jerks have continued to see a decline in popularity. Calvin Stark of Media Dot Net noted “They were never in an enviable slot, appearing between The Church of Jesusman and The Church of Jesse is not ideal”.
